James, Bynum earn NBA weekly honors

The Cleveland Cavaliers' LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers' Andrew Bynum have been named the Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week, respectively, for the period ending January 25. James guided the Cavaliers to a 3-1 record during a week-long West Coast swing, averaging 30.5 points, 9.8 rebounds, 8.8 assists and 2.3 steals, per contest. Race To MVP: Why Kobe is not #1

Kobe Bryant is last years MVP (Finally!) and if he wants to retain his MVP Award this season. 1 of 2 things has to happen. Lebron James and the Cleveland Caveliers has to start losing or Kobe Bryant has to put up better numbers. I think the Cavs is going to start losing and Kobe will retain his MVP Awards.
